An initiative was presented to address the needs of businesses and the goals of the government's strategies by streamlining, simplifying, and harmonizing services across government. This initiative would improve online service delivery and reduce red tape. Mejora developed a concept paper, which presented an approach for the ministry's partner ministries to continue to move the initiative forward. 

To support Yukon Workers Compensation Health and Safety Board's (YWCHSB) mandate to provide compensation, service, and support to Yukon workers injured on the job and promote healthy and safe work environments, Mejora was engaged to update the board's on-premise data centre by providing documentation outlining the IT environment's configuration, analyzing the IT environment, and detailing the board's business strategic plan. This work also included identifying indicators of IT-related risk and provide recommendations for projects and activities that can be done in the short term and ideas for achieving an ideal future state. 

Based on the outcomes of the IT Environment Analysis and Configuration, as well as the Strategic Plan, Mejora was engaged further to develop the Results Realization Framework to focus efforts on achieving real, tangible outcomes and results based on the Strategic Plan. As part of this project, Mejora was also responsible to investigate the quality of claims information to determine if the results were accurate or complete enough to support planning, operations, and performance reporting. This work resulted in identifying root causes of data quality issues and recommend solutions. 

Mejora was engaged to develop overarching Stakeholder Survey Strategy and Approach to create a framework for a review of a newly-installed Act that governs works compensation, health, and safety in the province. This review was expected to include a significant amount of public and stakeholder consultation, so required a structured strategy and approach rooted in outcomes. Due to our development of the Results Realization Framework, the board engaged us to conduct a survey to assess performance relative to sustaining the trust and confidence of workers and employers.
