Natural Resources and Environment

A project was initiated to establish a strategic direction for the sustainable stewardship and management of provincial public land and water, aligning with economic, environmental, social, and cultural objectives. We were engaged to review the existing land use planning IM/IT systems supporting this initiative. Mejora's role involved defining the current state of these systems, identifying gaps and challenges, assessing user needs, and determining short- and long-term goals. Based on these activities, we developed a comprehensive land use planning IM/IT action plan, which serves as a foundation for focus areas and guides future system enhancements.

 A project was initiated to enhance decision-making and address key operational challenges within the natural resource sector, focusing on priority initiatives, permitting processes, and policy frameworks while incorporating collaborative approaches and indigenous co-management. We were engaged to provide project management services across four distinct policy-based teams, concentrating on delegation models, deemed authorization, professional reliance, and groundwater authorization. Our role involved directing teams, planning, and organizing efforts using Agile methodologies to advance the policy projects, ensuring effective coordination and progress toward the project’s strategic objectives.
